CELESTIAL PORTALS OF LIGHT

Creative Me

We are all born with psychic senses. Psychic art is practising this inborn ability. You can call it inner knowing, your gut feeling, or your intuition. I am sure you have had a situation where you walked into a room, and your spidery sense went on red alert, and you had to leave the room. You may have the same with a person you have never met before. That is your psychic sense working. Psychic art allows us to work consciously with this gift.

For me, psychic art is a creative process in which I create art while staying connected to my Divine presence. I can also channel messages or energies from unseen realms. For instance, you can see my ongoing series of Celestial Portals of Light, which features the colour rays and crystals of the Archangel to which the painting is connected.

Psychic art is a realm of mystery and wonder, encompassing drawings, paintings, sculpture, and even automatic writing. It captures elements of spiritual dimensions, messages from the beyond, visions, and energies that are not consciously accessible, inviting you to delve into this enigmatic world.

There are a few significant methods and philosophies that guide psychic art:

1. Spirit Art: The artist acts as a medium, allowing a spirit or guide to control or influence the creative process. Sometimes, the spirit is said to be a well-known deceased artist, and the resulting work may resemble that artist's style. Other times, the spirit is an unnamed entity.

2. Automatic Drawing or Painting: This method involves the artist creating without conscious thought, allowing the hand to move freely across the canvas. The idea is to let go of rational control, letting subconscious or external influences dictate the composition. This technique has roots in Surrealism and can resemble automatic writing, a method often used in psychic and mediumistic practices.

3. Channelled Messages in Art: Some psychic artists use their art as a tool to deliver messages from the spirit world. These artworks may include symbols, colours, and forms intended to convey particular messages, heal, or inspire specific emotions in the viewer.

4. Healing and Energy Art: This is a significant aspect of psychic art, focusing on channelling healing energies. Often using colour and form to affect the viewer’s mental or emotional state, this type of art is linked to beliefs in energy healing. It suggests that specific colours, shapes, or symbols can carry vibrations that resonate with the viewer, offering comfort and hope.

5. Visual Representations of Auras or Spirits: Some artists aim to capture the "aura" or energy of a person, place, or spirit on canvas. This often involves abstract colours and shapes that reflect their intuitive perceptions of invisible energies or spirits around them.

Historically, psychic art gained attention in the late 19th and early 20th centuries alongside the Spiritualist movement.

Today, psychic art remains a niche but lively field, often associated with metaphysical beliefs, spiritual healing, and energy work.

Archangel Chamuel

Archangel Chamuel, the white and pink angel of love

Our true nature is that of love. Under layers of conditioning resides our true essence. Live on Earth is to remember that. To go about our daily lives with unconditional love for all living things.

The soul is here to experience life, its glory and its horror. Earth is about living in duality. Living from a place of love, forgiveness, and gratitude means living in harmony with everything. The ego is just a bit of flavour, not to overpower who we truly are. Inside our heart is a flower with 33 petals of love. By working with Archangel Chamuel and cultivating more love inside of us, the flower starts to open—one petal at a time.

This piece came to me while meditating, connecting with my heart centre. Archangel Chamuel stepped forward and asked me to create a portal for him. While softly gazing at the image, you may notice the vibration of unconditional love emanating.

I was encouraged to use Rhodonite, Rose Quartz and Moonstone.

Original, Acrylic on canvas, 28 x36 cm, £33.30 plus p&p

ARCHANGEL GABRIEL

Archangel Gabriel, Ray of Diamond Light

Archangel Gabriel is a shimmering white light associated with purity, clarity, joy, and creativity. To me, AA Gabriel feels feminine, the energy powerful yet gentle. Gentleness and harmlessness are not to be mistaken for weakness. I often invite her into my space to support me with my creative projects.

I “saw” this image in my mind's eye while I was meditating. She is also known as the angel connected to the moon. If memory serves right, it was painted during the full moon phase. The impact of a full moon or new moon lasts three days.

I was told to use Moonstone and Clear Quartz Crystal chips. The silver hearts, made from wood, are placed as a reminder that love is all-powerful.

Original painting, Acrylic on canvas, 30x40cm, £33.30 plus p&p
